Harold Charles Francis Harvey  British  Newlyn School painter     born 1874 - died 1941 Cornish Children (1920) Private collection Painting - oil on canvas 내가 나의 母國語(모국어)로 三月(삼월)의 詩(시)를 쓰면 이 달의 어린 새들은 가지에서 노래하리라 아름다운 未來(미래)와 같이 알 수 없는 저들의 異國語(이국어)로 겨우내 어버이의 사랑을 받지 못한 아이들이 이제는 陽地(양지)로 모인다 그리고 저들이 닦는 구두 콧부리에서 三月(삼월)의 潤(윤)이 빛나기 시작한다 都心(도심)엔 市廳(시청) 지붕 위 비둘기들이 廣場(광장)의 噴水塔(분수탑)을 몇 차롄가 돌고선 푸라타나스 마른 뿔 위에 無聊(무료)히 앉는 三月(삼월)이기에 아직은 비어 있다 그러나 0속에 모든 數(수)의 신비가 묻혀 있듯 우리들의 마음은 개구리의 숨통처럼 벌써부터 울먹인다 울먹인다 그러기에 지금 오랜 黃金(황금)이 千里(천리)에 뻗쳐 묻혔기로 벙그는 가지 끝에 맺는 한 오라기의 빛만은 못하리라 오오, 목숨이 눈뜨는 三月(삼월)이여 箱子(상자)에 묻힌 眞珠(진주)를 바다에 내어 주라 이윽고 술과 같이 출렁일 바다에 던지라 그리하여 저 아지랭이의 妖精(요정)과 魔法(마법)을 빌려 피빛 冬柏(동백)으로 구름빛 百合(백합)으로 다시 살아나게 하라 다시 피게 하라 출렁이는 마음 그 푸른 波濤(파도) 위에 삼월의 시 (三月의 詩)            . . . . . . . . .            김현승 (金顯承, 1913-1975, 대한민국 시인) Tulip Pickers (1926) Private collection Painting -
