Gu Zhi-nong 顾致农 (顧致農)

Born in 1971 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, painter Gu Zhinong could have
chosen no better place to pursue artmaking.
(Hangzhou is located in a province that borders the East China Sea and lies
122 miles southwest of Shanghai).
Because of its stunning physical beauty and long cultural history, the city,
has spawned a well-known Chinese proverb: "In heaven, there is paradise
and on earth there are Hangzhou and Suzhou."
Even Marco Polo described Mr. Gu's birthplace -- which surrounds a large lake and,
since the 12th century, has attracted numerous artists, poets and painters searching
for inspiration -- as "the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world."
He entered Hangzhou Normal University in 1990 and then taught in Fine Art Academy
of Hangzhou Normal University in 1994.
He was awarded The Gold Medal in “The 11th Zhejiang Province Fine Arts Exhibition”.

화가 Gu Zhinong(顧致農)은 1971년에 예술하기에 더할나위 없게 좋은 곳인
중국 저정성(浙江省)의 항저우(杭州)를 선택하여 태어남.
-항저우는 상하이(上海) 남서쪽으로 약195 km 곳에 위치-
이 도시는 "하늘에 '낙원'이 있다면, 지구상에는 항저우(杭州)와 쑤저우(蘇州)가 있다 "는
유명한 격언을 낳을만큼 긴 문화와 역사를 지닌 아름다운 곳이다.
'마르코 폴로' 마저도 화가가 태어난 이 곳을 가리켜 "큰 호수를 둘러싸고 12世紀 부터
많은 예술가 시인 화가들이 (예술적)영감을 찾는, 세상에서 가장 아름답고 훌륭한 곳."
이라고 적고 있다.
1990년 Hangzhou Normal University 입학. 1994년 항조우사범대학의 미술 아카데미
에서 가르첬다. 제11회 절강성 미술전에서 금메달 수상 등... 수상 경력은 아래와 같음.
